Marsh Farm Consortium
The Transition and Intervention Trailblazer Project has been implemented and funded as a result of needs identified by the Marsh Farm Learning Consortium. The Marsh Farm Learning Consortium is committed to address widely recognized educational problems in Marsh Farm associated with poor perceptions of learning, underperformance and lack of progression. The Project has identified ‘Acquisition of language’ as a key priority area with particular emphasis on ‘Speaking and Listening’. The Consortium has employed Peculiar Productions to provide ‘Performing Arts Workshops’ across the Consortium schools with a view to improving ‘Speaking and Listening’ Skills.
Luton Music Service
As part of Luton Music Services vocal strategy, Peculiar Productions has been employed to deliver CPD training, opera workshops in schools, local SingUp projects in primary schools, working alongside the boroughs vocal specialist on their 'Singing Spectacular' and to set up an Opera Antics masterclass weekend. We hope this is the beginning of much more partnership work in the area.
Bedfordshire Music
Since 2005 Peculiar Productions have provided numerous musical courses, workshops and events for Bedfordshire Music. These currently include Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance – Bedfordshire Youth Musical Theatre, Bedfordshire Youth Opera, both the main show and the schools’ tour production.
